Meet NFDI4Biodiversity at the TDWG conference 2026 in Oslo!

Historically known as the Taxonomic Databases Working Group, today’s Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) is a not-for-profit, scientific and educational association formed to establish international collaboration among the creators, managers and users of biodiversity information and to promote the wider and more effective dissemination and sharing of knowledge about the world’s heritage of biological organisms.

This year's conference theme is "Research and Robot-ready Biodiversity Data Standards" and will be held in Oslo, Norway from 21-25 September.

Among many interesting sessions, presentations, posters and keynotes from Tanya Berger-Wolf, Máret J. Hætta, and Ramona Walls, NFDI4Biodiversity will be present with a workshop on „Strengthening National Biodiversity Data Infrastructures through International Coordination“ by Anton Güntsch, David Fichtmueller, Tanja Weibulat, Victor Heijke and Andrea Tarallo, as well as a contribution by Birgitta König-Ries at the workshop „The Role of NFDI4Biodiversity within Germany's National Biodiversity Data Infrastructure“.
