AMMOD in the context of the NFDI – AMMOD Conference 2022
Organisation: AMMOD
Making biodiversity data more readily available so that research and conservation stakeholders can make better contributions to biodiversity conservation – that is one of the goals of NFDI4Biodiversity. To be able to help, we need to know where challenges and needs lie here. That's why we work closely with professional societies, infrastructure projects and research institutions in the form of concrete use cases. One of them is the Automated Multisensor Stations for Monitoring of BioDiversity (AMMOD) project. The collected data will be contributed to the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) and thus extensively networked and used. Ivaylo Kostadinov will explain how the interoperability between NFDI4Biodiversity and AMMOD will be achieved, how the integration of further data (e.g. historical data, climate and traffic data) can be implemented and how citizen science will be involved.
