Filmstill_Helpdeskfilm

The NFDI4Biodiversity Helpdesk is the central point of contact for all questions relating to biodiversity, data management and the use of our services - and a unique opportunity to obtain advice directly from the experts in our large network. Contacting us is very easy: Questions can be submitted to www.nfdi4biodiversity.org/helpdesk and addressed directly to our helpdesk team.

This short animated film explains the wide range of topics that can be addressed to the colleagues working for the helpdesk:

Behind the helpdesk we have a team of experienced employees from the NFDI4Biodiversity network. They specialize in different areas such as data management, biodiversity research and technical support. The team works closely together to offer fast and effective solutions and, if necessary, to call in experts from the wider network.

Who can contact the helpdesk?

The helpdesk is open to anyone who works with or is interested in biodiversity data. This includes researchers, students, teachers as well as civil society and private sector actors working with biodiversity, ecology or environmental data. Whether you need help with storing data, are looking for support in using specific tools or simply want to find out more about our services, the helpdesk team is happy to receive your request.

What specific help can I expect and how can the helpdesk help me with my work in the field of biodiversity?

Inquiries frequently relate to the following topics:

  • Data management: We show you how to organize, store and publish biodiversity data effectively.
  • Use of Tools: We help you select and use the right tools and services for your research needs and interests.
  • Training and education: Find out about upcoming workshops and trainings to improve your skills in working with biodiversity data.
  • Project support: We advise on the planning and implementation of projects in the field of biodiversity and help you to find potential cooperation partners.

Unsure whether your request fits? Write to us anyway.

The helpdesk team looks forward to hearing from you!
