46th Diversity Workbench Workshop on ITCER Tools and Data in Africa

Join us for a hands-on workshop focused on optimizing ITCER’s e-training tools for biodiversity data mobilization in tropical Africa. Participants will explore the integration of AI-supported software and renaturation projects in Kenya, working with experts from the SNSB IT Center and NFDI4Biodiversity.

The workshop focuses on improving ITCER’s e-training tools by gathering participants from Kenyan universities, local governments, and nature conservation groups, along with SNSB data scientists. It aims to enhance the educational impact of these tools for biodiversity research and support projects related to renaturation in Siaya County, Kenya. The workshop will also explore integrating ITCER’s tools with the Diversity Workbench software and future collaborations in Africa for mobilizing biodiversity data, especially using AI-supported software.
